ABOUT

The OakLuv foundation is set to grant (5) matriarchs in our community with $3,000, and a computer, to eligible recipients residing in designated Oakland ZIP codes to help bring joy to their holiday season.

As a nonprofit, OakLuv has spent the last fifteen years giving back to communities in Oakland as a means to spread joy during the holidays. In 2023, OakLuv will embark on the task of bringing love to Oakland communities as a year round endeavor with purposeful campaigns. The matriarch grant is the first step in the reimagining of OakLuv, and the foundation’s ability to give back to Oakland.

Purpose

The purpose of the Community Matriarch Grant is to celebrate the hard work, perseverance, and leadership in the Oakland community who are dedicated to empowering and creating positive change within their families and communities.
